Yes. In the USA and Canada personal training is regulated by the industry and not by legislation. That means employers dictate which credentials are respected (unless independently employed).
The Brookbush Institute CPT is widely recognized and respected in the industry, but every employer has their individual preferences. If you have a particular employer you wish to work for, we recommend reaching out to that employer.
If the Brookbush Institute CPT does not give you the best chance of being hired, ask them which certification they prefer, and then weigh the costs and benefits.
If you are independently employed, your choice of certification is dictated by your ability to acquire liability insurance.
